Conference rooms and breakrooms are the two spaces in a typical office that see concentrated use at irregular times, are used by external visitors as well as staff, and are most likely to be seen in a condition the facilities manager would not choose. We clean both to a documented standard so that a client walking into your conference room at 8 AM sees the same room you'd want them to see.

Conference Room Cleaning — What's Covered

Conference rooms collect whiteboard residue, beverage rings, cable clutter, and the accumulated detritus of back-to-back meetings. Our conference room scope addresses all of it:

  • Wipe down the conference table — full surface, not just the visible ring areas
  • Clean whiteboard and marker trays; erase residual writing unless a "do not erase" note is present
  • Wipe down AV equipment surrounds, remote controls and credenzas
  • Straighten chairs and position them to the table
  • Vacuum carpet or damp-mop hard floor
  • Empty trash and replace liner
  • Spot-clean glass walls or partitions
  • Sanitize light switches and door handles

Breakroom Cleaning — What's Covered

Breakrooms are high-touch, high-odour and often the first space that tells staff — and the occasional visitor — whether the building is maintained or just cleaned for appearances. Standard breakroom scope:

  • Wipe down countertops and backsplash
  • Clean exterior of microwave, coffee station, refrigerator and dishwasher
  • Clean sink basin and faucet
  • Damp-mop hard floor
  • Empty trash and recycling; replace liners
  • Wipe table and chairs
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces

Refrigerator interior cleaning and appliance interior cleaning are available on a scheduled basis and documented separately when requested.

Frequency and Scheduling

Most offices combine conference and breakroom cleaning with their regular nightly scope. Standalone scheduling — two or three times per week — is also available for offices that use external cleaning for other areas but need dedicated attention on these two spaces.

Scope is agreed in writing before the first clean. If something is missed, we return within 24 hours.
